yesterday some one left a red saying "go and sleep in your bedroom or something like that" :D,
(which I find hilarious..because I don't exactly sleep on my couch :D:D)
then some left a green saying "nullifying red".
folks, I didn't leave a red for anyone (who cares abt them anyways)...don't assume immediately that I reacted.
giving either reds or greens will not impact anyone's gc process..or change their PDs!

let me reiterate though, that I am completely opposed to flower campaign because once bitten, twice shy.

instead focus on other avenues, there is an excellent thread on FOIA in addition to the other avenues

I mentioned very clearly that someone who didn't want to come in front did this. So definitely its not you as you wanted to express your opinion and discuss in public. I always appreciate other's suggestions as it will eventually bring us to right or better decision. I only hate people who don't want to do anything and curse people who want to do something.

Yes I filed on July 5th 2007.
When do the medical tests run out. I did mine sometime in June 2007. I recall someone mentioning that you need to keep doing those every "x" months or something. Is that true?
When did you file ur 485, i mean exact date? If you filed very early during July'07 fiasco, probably they started pre-adjudication process based on the receipt date.

IF DOS does not make EB2 I C and EB3 ROW current before Jul 2011.
ROW world has a quota of 149,200 and pending applications of 100 + 44,800 = 44,900.
Lets say EB1, EB3 ROW uses 30K which I doubt will be far less than that, so there will be 70K visas just from ROW to spill to EB3 ROW. If DOS/USICS decides not to waste the Visas definetly EB3 Mexico and India should get a good share of that 70k. This 70k should even be more as there might be some unsed EB1.
THIS IS ALL VOID IF EB2 I C and EB3 ROW becoming Current before Jul 2011 and also if they start quarterly spill over.

IEEE believes that ppl educated in the US should not be sent back and should actually stay here. I agree with that stance. After all, they want what is best for ppl born here and those who have been educated here. It is IEEE-USA :)
As far as I know most of the "US educated foreigners"come here just to pursue thier higher education and have no intention of working here. Do they show their immigrant intent while applying for VISA and still get their student VISAs

I got a reply from USCIS saying that they can process the request sorted by priority date and country of birth of the applicant. Processing time will be around 15 months and that they have got their answer on priority date.
what are the next steps?
I dont think we should relay on their 15 months time line. Its too late. I am sure in coming 15 months whole immigration system will be changed. May be we will see point based system or something different. And at that time information will be no use. They are smart that is why they gave us 15 months. They will wait for 12 months to Congress to do something and then if nothing happen they will write SQL query in last 3 months.

In order to understand how a civil lawsuit works one needs to understand that in a complaint, one makes no legal arguments, does not cite case or precedent law but only cites the simple facts. The other side can respond to the complaint and deny or accept the allegations in part or in whole. Definitely much better than a computer operators'. I have high regards for people who work at reputed companies such as MS, ORCL, Apple though. By computer operator i mean people who try to speak english but sound as if they are speaking telugu.

Based on your state law, you may be required to carry your original DL and not copies.
I was talking about copy of EAD instead of original card.. But you made a valid point that EAD is not proof of immigration status... But then what is proof of Legal Status?? If you are on EAD.. you may not've H1...
Also carrying original EAD all the time is not a good idea... If you lose it.. it will take months to replace it... Not sure if during this.. you can work or not... Personally I was asked to show passport only once.. when driving through Texas by US Army... Within your state it may be okay if your DL is close to real ID... But still this is a confusing topic...
