I am in also facing the same situation...My employer says, the attorney clubbed some applications into one box and sent it, and donot know which box my application is, hence no fed ex number. Hopefully it should he been reached by july 2nd...No Receipts No Checks cleared...waiting for Sept 30 to call USCIS (after 90 days of filing)...most probably my application would have received by R.MICKELS, Delivery date: Jul 2, 2007 9:01 AM. I have got a list of tracking numbers from the attorney, only this tracking number details shows 4 lbs...hence thinking that my application is clubbed in this one. This was sent to Nebraska service center, My I-140 approved from Texas on June 25th. CAdude, Can you add my details onto the list. The compiled list show the time stamps are very close....

If you came in 1998 and started GC just 1 or 2 years back..You may not be knowing the reality.)

Pls concentrate on GC related things which will benefit everybody.
People laugh for the resolutions you suggested , if they can be proposed to any legislative member.

I think the final goal for most folks is citizenship.. including some of those who dont want to stay here permanently. Waiting 15 - 20 years for citizenship makes no sense.. if they are thinking of giving it to illegals in 10 years, whats wrong in asking?

I am a one time donor of $50 and not able to view the donor threads. If there is some extra step to be done by Admin for my User ID to grant permission or i don't qualify to view this thread. if i am not qualified what is the minimum qualification?
IV changed the policy....you can get donor access only if you sign up for recurring donation..hope that helps..

Guys,
I got a letter from Cong Tom Price (Rep- GA) saying that the immigration clauses in the Budget Reconciliation Bill did not make it. But he will try to push for those clauses in the immigration bills in 2006.
I got the same message from his DC staff, when I called to follow-up.

I heard that they stopped giving interim EAD's. So all were asked to apply atleast 3-4 months before other wise status will be lost unless you have valid H1. Not to scare anyone but thats what I read somewhere.

My prediction was more on the long term like 5-10 years horizon. REITs have lost almost 70% of their values, but that's because asset value has gone down. If you want to gauge the returns look at the dividend yields on REIT which hasn't gone down that much. Besides due to free fall of oil and credit crunch we have deflationary pressure affecting the rents.
I don't think deflation is going to last very long, and sooner than later inflation will come back. and rents will go up. The enormous spending that is on card along with the money printed for bailout will eventually lead to inflation and dollar decline. Though I would rather have a deflation, signs tell me it is going to be inflation, call it my luck I have often been on the wrong side of the table. Look out for 50% REIT dividend yields in next 5-10 years.

in other words - rents will not go up for long long time and in my experience in many places, it has come down by around 100 - 200$ in many locations

Add to it, all other items people do to get attention for their case and think that by sending an email or a phone call from Senator or by a lawyer, the officer will realize his mistake and quickly open the file and approve it. If you look at the responses people post to their inquiries, you would see that most responses are standard. USCIS is not just approving 140K greencards but more than a million greencards, hundreds of thousands of H1 and other visa types, EADs etc...every year. Greencards do not get issued on the day date gets current. It is not a automatic process. There is lot of human work involved and many people do not understand that or spend time understanding it. Another reason the companies give nowadays is "Unfortunately it is a government project and we cannot accept EAD status" - am baffled as to why they are OK with Green card and not EAD.

I was able to contact NSC using POJ today. Got same response- File is with IO for review.
I could reach IO yesterday. representative said that me and my wife's cases are preadjudicated. Not sure if I could believe this...
